VOLUME TRAINING. DOES IT WORK?

In my own experience the answer would be yes. Arnold was a true believer in volume training. Usually waiting only one minute in between sets and it wasn't unusual for him to 25 sets 10 to 25 reps working on one particular muscle. Dave Draper believed in this type of training as well. In the gyms today i see heavy weights with very few sets and reps. What do you think?
